68 BEDFORD Street #NA

Bedford Street between Morton and Commerce has long been a treasured Village tree lined block of townhouses. Laid out prior to 1799 and named after a street in London, this block contains several of the oldest houses in the Village and continues to be the heart of New York's Greenwich Village historic landmarked district.



Once home to some of the city's most celebrated luminaries: Poet Edna St. Vincent Millay -- the first woman to win the Pulitzer Price for poetry lived in a house across the street. Paul Stookey social justice activist and singer of Peter Paul and Mary fame lived next door at 70 Bedford.
