Referral Fee Details
Standard Terms
- Referral fee: 25% of gross commission received by Milton at closing
- Agreement: REBNY-standard referral form, signed by both brokerages
- Payment: Check issued within 5 business days of closing
- Documentation: Copy of settlement statement provided with payment
- Validity: Referral agreement covers the specific client named for 12 months
Important Notes
- Referral fees are paid to licensed real estate brokers and salespersons in good standing in their state of licensure
- Both parties must be licensed for the referral fee to be paid
- Referral fees on rental transactions follow FARE Act rules | confirm before referring a rental client
